PARISH Council: Meets at Ellisfield Memorial Hall on Monday, at 7.30pm.
At the last parish council meeting, existing councillors voted unanimously to co-opt Julian Wright, of Ivy Cottage, Bell Lane, to join the council.
Village residents are welcome to attend meetings and join in discussions about village issues at the open forum which takes place at the beginning of the meeting and again at the end.
BUS shelter: Thanks to Mick Frankham for doing such a great job installing steps and handrails leading to the bus shelter at the bottom of Green Lane.
These will make such a big difference, particularly now that the cold weather and icy mornings have arrived.
Also remember the grit in the new big blue bins is for local use.
BURNS’ Night: Ladies, dig out your tartan for next Wednesday’s supper, 7.30pm for 8pm at The Fox. It promises to be a great evening complete with haggis (and alternatives).
