JUMBLE Sale: The first of the year, to raise funds to help pay towards a kitchen update in the village hall, takes place on February 4, commencing at 2pm.
Saleable goods can be left in the hall foyer from Monday of the preceding week.
BARN Dance: On behalf of the Wine Circle, mosey along for a good night out on March 3, from 8pm to midnight.
Tickets are £8, from Michael Haynes on 329792, but do bring your own refreshments to the village hall.
SENIOR citizens’ luncheon: Please complete the form in this month’s Basinga if you would like to attend. There will be a sherry reception, good food and entertainment in the village hall.
It’s good to know that this enjoyable village tradition can still continue, so many thanks to the commitment of all the volunteers involved.
COFFEE Break: This friendly monthly gathering will be held on January 27, at Old Basing Methodist Church, in The Street, from 10.30am to noon.
DON’T forget: The Christingle Service this Sunday, at 4pm in St Mary’s Church.
