OAKLEY Ramblers: Are having an all-day walk on Sunday.
Walkers will meet in the Kennet Way layby at 9.50am.
New members welcome – you can try out a walk or two before you join. Just turn up on the day or for more information on the Ramblers, call 780039.
Sunday morning walks are held about twice a month, with some full day walks and also some weekday evening walks.
There are no jumble sales this weekend, but on Saturday, September 11, Oakley Gardening Club will hold a sale in East Oakley Village Hall, starting at 2pm.
On Sunday, September 12, there will be an extra sale in EOVH at 1.30pm.
This is a sale of household goods due to a move abroad and will include some small exercise equipment such as a stepper and an abs machine, loads of very good quality books, DVDs, CDs and videos of all kinds. Other items also available.
