LIVING high on the hog: The Whitewater Benefice invites you to a late summer Hog Roast followed by an Auction of Promises this Saturday, starting at 3pm, in the beautiful gardens of Bartlett's Farm, by very kind permission of Jill and Andrew Soundy.
We have some amazing lots; Tea for Two at Tylney Hall and The Ritz; Exmoor cottage break, case of champagne, three hours ironing, and many, many more – something for everyone's budget!
Soft drinks will be available but please bring your own beer or wine.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £7.50 for children and are available by ringing Margaret Grey on 334177.

PROFITABLE plants: Andy and Helen would like to thank everyone who supported their charity plant sale and tea party held over the summer in Wedman's Place. All who enjoyed tea and cake while chatting in the sunshine helped raise £260 for Christian Aid, a fantastic sum which will do a lot of good!
