CRAFT fayre: Bramley WI will hold a craft fayre on October 3, from 2pm to 4pm in Bramley Village Hall.

You will find stalls selling jewellery, cards and gift items with a chance to buy early Christmas presents at affordable prices. Please make a diary note to go along. Linda, on 882607 will be happy to give more information.

BRAMLEY Show: Adverse spring weather conditions affected the vegetables, meaning there were very few entries in the potato, onion and bean classes. More entries in some other classes compensated a little.

Eileen Littlejohns, for many years a loyal supporter, won the Chapman Challenge Cup and the Davies Jones Cup in the flower division. Sarah Hodnett took the Domestic Challenge Cup.

There were many children’s entries and Daisy Kirby won the overall Bramley Show Children’s Cup.

Children from the Pranata, Pullan and Wood families entered good exhibits and took home lots of awards.

Deirdre Toogood gave out the awards, was thanked and presented with a pot plant.

A complete list of winners of all 18 trophies will appear in the next edition of the Bramley Magazine.

The committee thank all who came and participated in any way.
