SAINSBURY’S: The store re-opened yesterday after refurbishment.
HATCH Warren WI: The local ladies of the WI meet next Thursday, September 2, at the community centre.
The meeting starts at 8pm, and the theme for the evening’s speaker will be “From the Field to the Plate”. New members and visitors are always welcome.
BEAT surgeries: Our local beat officers have changed their regular surgeries to include Beggarwood.
From now on, they will hold a midweek surgery once a month at the Co-op store in Beggarwood, and a weekend surgery every other month at Sainsbury’s cafe.
The next surgery is this Saturday, at Sainsbury’s from 11.30am until 1pm.
Any local residents with local policing issues or concerns are welcome.
END of summer barbecue: The youth wing is holding an End of Summer Barbecue for local young people aged 10 to16.
It’s being held tomorrow at the youth wing from 6pm until 9.30pm. Entry is 50p.
