HAMPSHIRE Air Ambulance: Please make a diary note for May 20, when there will be a talk about the Hampshire Air Ambulance in the pavilion at the Clift Meadow at 7.30pm.

The meeting will be open to all and entry free but donations in support of the Air Ambulance will be very much appreciated. Contact NWR on 01256 881693.

SUMMER fair: On June 7, on the Clift Meadow. Would you like to organise a stall or help in any way? The ladies who ran the fragrance stall in 2009 are already appealing for any items of shower gel, soap, perfumed candles etc. Contact Ann on 881563.

BEAT surgery: On Wednesday, WPC Mandy Jewell will be at Bramley Bakery, next to the railway station, from 9am to 11am. The most recent report was that the increase in the number of thefts from outbuildings has slowed.
