JUMBLE sale: On Saturday, the Friends of St John’s will hold a jumble sale in East Oakley Village Hall, in Hill Road, starting at 2pm.
PIPPINS Gift Shop: Is now open in Meon Road. Proprietor Michelle Tuckwell can now offer gifts for the home and garden, and will also stock a selection of hand-made cards. Pippins will be open from 9.30am to 4.30pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
COULD you save a life? The parish council and Oakley Medical Services are offering Oakley residents the chance to learn basic first aid techniques.
Free half-hour sessions will be held from 6pm to 9pm on Wednesday, March 31, at the Newfound Sports Pavilion.
The training is open to all ages and abilities, and will feature practical hands-on guidance.

OAKLEY Ramblers: Meet for a walk on Sunday, at the Kennet Way lay-by at 9.50am for a 10am start. New members are always welcome.
NEXT Saturday: Oakley and WI will hold a jumble sale in East Oakley Village Hall starting at 2pm. There will also be a raffle and a tombola. Donations after 10am on sale day.
