DATES for your diary: Beginners’ pilates, incorporating legs, bums and tums. There is a new class starting on Thursday, March 4, from 1.30pm to 2.30pm at Melrose Hall.
The first lesson is free (normally £4 a week) so if you want to shape up, now is the time to start.

CELEBRATING Women as Women: You are invited to come and celebrate International Women’s Day at Popley Fields Centre on March 15, from 1pm to 4.30pm.
International Women’s Day is a major day of global celebration for the economic, political and social achievements of women. There will be demonstrations, pampering, a kids’ area, and lots of information. The whole event is free. For further details, please contact BVS on 01256 423816 or email bvs@voluntary services.com.
BINGO: There will be another fantastic Family Prize Bingo night on Friday, March 26, at Popley Fields Centre. Doors open at 6pm and its eyes down at 7pm for a night of fun.
PLANT sale and Easter fun: On Saturday, April 3, from 2pm to 4pm at Melrose Hall.
