WHIST drive: Takes place tonight, up at the village hall from 6.45pm.

ALSO tonight: The Basingstoke Astronomical Society’s practical/observing meeting happens at Cliddesden Primary School from 7pm. Mars and Saturn are observable this month, with possible glimpses of Uranus, which is largely in hiding in February.

MEETING: Monday, is the date for this month’s CRASH meeting – that’s the computer club. It takes place at the village hall, from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Tea and coffee are available. Everybody is welcome so feel free to go along and bring any interested friends, whether from the village or not.

A wide range of topics is covered, as the club operates a policy of addressing questions which people ask on the day. So if there’s any aspect of IT which you need help with, this is the place to go.

GOLDILOCKS: Anyone with children aged three to ten should also make a note of Hand To Mouth’s production of Goldilocks, at the village hall on February 27, at 3pm. Tickets £5, from Sian Banks on 01256 333151.
