CLOCKING off: A special presentation was held at the Rotherwick Parish Council meeting last month to recognise the sterling service of councillor Bridget Anderson, who is standing down after 10 years.

Bridget has been involved with all aspects of life in the village during that time.

Although she will continue to contribute to the quality of life in Rotherwick, we will miss her balanced and thoughtful comments during parish council debates.

Bridget was presented with an engraved crystal clock as a tribute to her long commitment.

Well done Mrs A!

LOVE one another: In celebration of St Valentine, the Rotherwick church Praise and Play group for the under-fives will be thinking about what it means to love one another tomorrow, from 1.45pm to 2.45pm.

Everyone is encouraged to decorate heart-shaped cookies with plenty of time for fun, refreshment and friendships before collecting older siblings at school!

Parents, grandparents, carers and friends are all welcome.
