THE new annex to First Chineham Scout and Community Hall was officially opened last Wednesday Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and their parents and friends attended the opening.

FRIDAY, March 5: Is Women’s World Day of Prayer. The local service for all Chineham, Lychpit, Old Basing churches is at St Bede’s Church, Popley Way, starting at 10.30am.

ADVANCE notice: The next police residents’ briefing is to take place on Monday, February 15, from 8pm in Chineham Village Hall.

Following the discovery of a cannabis factory in Minden Close, local bobby PC Jim Charlton will be giving a talk on identifying drugs factories in our communities.

BOPPING Babies: Is coming to Chineham! This disco fun, dance and play session will take place from 1.45pm on the first and third Thursday of every month in the community rooms at Chineham Village Hall.
