RED Riding Hood panto: In the village hall tomorrow and Saturday. Curtain up at 7.30pm and 2.30pm for the matinees. Tickets £7 adults and £5 concessions, on sale from 0118 9815600. Check to see if there are any tickets left.

ROMAN talk: The date is Friday, February 12, at 7.30pm, in the hall. Tickets on the door cost £3 adults and £1 for 16 and under.

VILLAGE market: Starts for 2010 on Saturday, from 10am to noon, in the hall. Plenty of fresh products available.

AUDITIONS: Tuesday, at 7.30pm in the village hall for the next production in May, which will be “Ladies Day” by Amanda Whittington. Contact Keith on 0118 9816431 for details.

COMMONS working party: Meets at the Calleva at 9.30am on Saturday.

ROMAN talk: By Professor Michael Fulford on Friday, February 12, at 7.30pm. Doors open from 7pm.

AUCTION: On February 20, in the hall. Goods in from 6.30pm on Friday. Sale starts promptly at 10am. Money raised will go to the planned extension/improvements to our village hall.

EDUCATION Sunday: Was held in the church last Sunday afternoon. Several children from Year 2 took part.
