CONCERT “Summer’s for Singing”: The Kingsclere Singers with the Hannington Silver Band will be performing at St Mary’s Church on Saturday, from 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £6, to include nibbles and a glass of wine.

LIBRARY: The children’s summer reading scheme starts on Monday, July 13, and finishes on Saturday, September 12.

The theme this year is “Quest Seekers”.

YOUTH club: Will open weekly at the Village Club, every Thursday evening from July 16.

BIG event: There will be an event for all young people on the Holding Field on Sunday, July 12, from 10am to 4pm. Bungee trampolining and a climbing wall are the main features with barbecue and side-shows. The details of the new children’s and young people’s centre will be on display.

DOGS: The new symbols should now be complete after a few teething problems. For more information, call the parish office on 298634.
