EVENSONG: On Sunday, we join friends at Bramley church for a joint Evensong service at 6pm.

VILLAGE market: On Saturday, the village market will be taking place from 10am to noon in the village hall. There will be lots of fresh foods and plants, together with arts and crafts stalls.

OPEN gardens: On Satur-day, July 11. Contact secretary@silchester.org for details.

METHODIST Church and St Mary’s Church: Cream teas will be available at both churches during July. At the Methodist Church, from 3pm to 6pm, and at St Mary’s, from 2pm to 5pm.

Why not have a good look around the village and environs and have tea in both places?
