CONGRATULATIONS: To Debbie and Hannah Foster, who completed last Sunday’s Race for Life in 36 minutes, helping the Basingstoke event towards its £244,000 target for Cancer Research UK.

STAMINA: Will be required for those participating in all the local events this weekend.
Starting tomorrow evening, the annual Ellisfield Wine Walk, in its 11th stupendous year, starts at 7pm.
This year’s event is billed as a very convivial way to support the Memorial Hall, meet friends and neighbours and enjoy legendary Ellisfield hospitality. This year’s hosts are all in Green Lane and Church Lane, so there will perhaps be less walking this year.
On Saturday evening, for those lucky enough to have a ticket, the Ellisfield Ladies and Farleigh Men will be performing extracts from Mama Mia! at Farleigh Barn.
The audience are also invited to dress up, so this is an occasion to remember the camera!
