WORKING party: On Saturday, St Stephen’s churchyard working party is meeting from 10am to noon, so go along and help if you can. Refreshments will be provided.
CONCERT: The Hurst Singers autumn concert takes place at Heath End Village Hall on Saturday, at 7.30pm. Their special guests are Hannington Silver Band. Entry costs £6.
THEATRE: On Sunday, at Heath End Village Hall, at 3pm, Openbox Theatre will be putting on a family show called A Bag Full of Stories.
This hour-long show celebrates folk tales from around the world.
Tickets cost £6, children £4, or £18 for a family, a tea party is included in this.

MONTHLY market: Wolverton Village Hall will hold its monthly market on Saturday, December 6, at 9.30am.
BADGERS Wood pub: On Saturday, December 6, Pete Lee will be playing the guitar and singing in the public bar from about 8pm.
FOOD fayre: Ashford Hill Primary School is holding a festive food fayre on Sunday, December 7, from noon to 3pm.
There will be a tasty lunch, a glass of mulled wine, cooking-related act-ivities, music and singing, a guest chef, lots of edible items to buy and try as well as food-created art, the launch of the school cookbook, shopping and Father Christmas will be there in his grotto too!
