COMMUNITY plans meeting: Local residents attended the meeting at the community centre last Thursday, to discuss the development of community plans for Hatch Warren and Beggarwood. Such plans would enable the community to demonstrate needs and improvements to be made, and would be given support and some initial funding from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council. If you would like to help the local community in this way there is still time to become involved. Contact either community.development@ basingstoke.gov.uk or myself.
STREETZ activities will be back at The Warren youth wing during half-term week. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings between 6pm until 8pm there will be Hallowe’en themed fun and crafts for youngsters aged 10-17.
IMMANUEL Church will be holding a special service of remembrance on the evening of November 1, All Souls Day, starting at 6pm. At this service the names of those who have died, who are recorded in the book of remembrance, will be mentioned in prayers.
