NEIGHBOURHOOD Watch’s Annual Cycle Ride Treasure Hunt takes place this Sunday. The new 10-mile route is suitable for all ages and should take between 2.5 and 3.5 hours to complete. There will be no questions to answer along the way, but the route map booklets are numbered and cyclists will need to collect special codes from the marshals along the route. Back at the Scout Hut, random prize-winning number combinations will be on display and prizes can be claimed.
The event starts at Chineham Scout Hut, Hanmore Road. Registration from 1.30pm.
Adults £2, children five-17 years £1, under fives free. Start times are staggered 2pm-2.30pm. Free refreshments.
CHRIST Church’s Messy Church is on Monday. Go straight from school from 3.45pm, when there will be refreshments and games.
“Messy” activities begin at 4.15pm, supper is at 5.15pm and home-time at 5.45pm. There is no charge, although donations towards the food are gratefully received. Please let the church know in advance of special dietary requirements.
