BRAMLEY Show: The 29th year of the show went well, on a lovely sunny day residents and visitors from nearby villages came to look at the array of exhibits which had been entered and arranged during the morning.
The Rev John Lenton presented the awards. The name of John Attwood featured high on the list as he retained the Bramley Show Cup and was overall winner in the flower, fruit and vegetable divisions. The Bramley Show Children’s Cup was won jointly by Daisy and Alice Large. The auction of produce and raffle came at the end of the event. Thanks to all who participated.
HARVEST Festival: On September 27, St James’ Church will celebrate Harvest. Lunch will be served after the service. To book, call 01256 880570.
FARMERS’ Market: In the pavilion, on Clift Meadow park, the market with its stalls and refreshments will be open on September 5 from 10.30am. jo.kempwilliams@outlook.com.
