WRAP Party: Following last month’s successful concert at Home Farm, Farleigh, to celebrate 40 years of Ellisfield Ladies Club, The Belles of St Martin’s met up to celebrate and make plans for future performances.
LADIES Club: Members are heading off to see a matinee performance of The Jersey Boys at Southampton’s Mayflower Theatre this Saturday.
Arrangements are for a coach to pick up around the village from about noon before heading to Southampton for a performance, starting at 2.00pm, and there are plans to stop for a meal on the return journey.
WINNERS at last Saturday’s Horticultural Show Summer Show: Included Ellisfield residents; Genna and Fletcher Cooke, who grew fabulous dahlias, Debbie and Seumas Foster and Tracey and Adam Gilvear for the best exhibits in floral and vegetable classes respectively.
GREAT Gatsby (2013 film version): Is being shown at Cliddesden Millennium Hall tonight.
The bar opens at 7.30pm, and the film starts at 8pm. Admission £2 per person.
