THE school holidays are upon us and there are things going on in the town: the community centre has Kids’ Cinema, which starts at 2pm and costs £1.50. On August 5, Shaun the Sheep will be shown. On August 12, it’s Sponge Bob (Sponge Out of Water), August 19, Cinderella, and August 26, Home (about an alien).
The community centre is running trips to the New Forest Show on July 28, Cadbury World and Sea Life Centre on August 19, Houses of Parliament on September 15, Mousetrap on September 29, and Jersey Boys on October 20.

Tadley Library is running the Summer Reading Challenge where children collect stickers as they go. The library also has a drop-in craft session for boys and girls. You can trace your family tree and find out about your ancestry and past.
The library also stocks batteries for hearing aids.
