UP, UP and Away: With the St Mary’s Junior Schools’ Summer Fair, from 1.30pm to 4.30pm, in Belle Vue Road this Sunday. Lots of family fun with falconry, an assault course, water play, crafts and activities and a gourmet barbecue.
ANNUAL Parish Awards: In recognition of their many years of voluntary service to the community Veronica Lickley received an engraved fruit bowl and Peter Thorn an engraved glass clock. The awards were made by new parish chairman Cllr Mark Oszczyk at the recent annual meeting.

QUACKERS Ahoy: On Saturday, July 11, at 2pm, with the popular duck races on the River Loddon organised by the Millfield Conservation Group.
Proceeds go towards more dormouse boxes and tools. As part of the Barton’s Mill annual Fun Day you can also meet the Wadworth shire horses.
