MERRILY we strode along through the lanes of Ellisfield. Nearly 100 people took advantage of the balmy summer evening last Friday to join the annual village wine walk. As always, thanks for the wonderful hospitality of this year’s hosts Caroline and Bernard Cazenove, Sue and Phil Self, Ali and Andy Swanston and Dee and Richard Haas. Thanks also to those who walked and drank enthusiastically to raise funds for Ellisfield Memorial Hall.

HERITAGE Orchestra: Will provide the musical metier for a summer evening concert and picnic to celebrate 40 years of the Ellisfield Ladies Club at The Barn, Farleigh.
A SUMMER Evening of Music: Saturday, July 18, 7pm for 8pm start. A summer evening of light classical music themed around the countryside and the seasons with The Belles of St Martin’s Choir and soloists. For tickets, call 01256 409029.
