METHODIST cream teas: Each Sunday throughout the month, from 3pm to 5pm. There will also be plants and crafts for you to purchase.
SILCHESTER Fete and Dog Show: Will be held on the playing field this coming Saturday. Dog show entries from noon.
Attractions include Maypole dancing by Silchester School children and Morris dancing, African drumming, tug-of-war, together with many stalls, teas, barbecue and hog roast, ferret racing and so much more. Free entry, what more could you ask?
KINGSCLERE Singers: Will be giving a concert in the parish church on Saturday, July 11, at 7.30pm. Tickets will be on sale next week. All monies raised will go into the “Bell Fund”.
RIDE to Paris in 24 hours, in aid of Scope: Ryan Flood will be making this challenge. See Ryan at the fete and guess how many miles he will ride during the afternoon.
