OLD Churchyard Conservation Group: The next volunteer working party meets in St Mary’s Church lobby on Thursday, May 28, at 2pm, and will involve strimming and grass collection. If you are in need of some compost for your own garden (for a small donation) contact Tim by email on tim@tmcarr.net.
RBL Women’s Section: Come and learn about the Hants and IOW Air Ambulance Service at the RBL Women’s Section meeting in the Crown Lane Hall at 7.30pm on May 28. This month’s competition is entitled Something that Flies, which gives a lot of choice to entrants.
ANNUAL Parish Meeting: Don’t forget that it’s next Thursday, in the Lychpit Community Hall at 7.30pm. The official opening of the Garden of Remembrance will be celebrated on June 6 at 11am, and all are welcome.
“NATTY and Knotty”: Welcome your donations of good quality clothing for the fundraising sale this Saturday, from 10.30am to 1.30pm at St Mary’s Church. The morning commences with a demonstration of scarftying.
