NWR: Gill says: “Our last meeting was a Japanese Evening in the lovely new Church Room. We had some tasty food such as Ramen noodle soup, Pork Tonkatsu, rice and salad. We finished with Osaka cheesecakes.
“Talks were given on Sumo wrestling, Japanese gardens, religion and geography. We discovered that Japan is a similar size to Norway but with a huge difference in population. Japan has over 127 million whilst Norway has only five million. We finished with a quiz and talk on the friendly and polite Japanese people. Our next meeting is our evening ramble.”
AUDITIONS: Following two play readings, next Tuesday, Loddon Players will be holding auditions for Tiptoe Through The Tombstones, 7.30pm, in Breach Lane Chapel.
