CHRISTIAN Aid Fayre: Last Saturday’s Christian Aid Fayre, at St Michael’s Church, went very well, and the weather was good, so it was able to be held outside, with afternoon teas served in the sunshine (which can’t be beaten).
TREACLE Fair: Takes place on Sunday, May 31, at Saunders Field, Tadley.
There are four golden tickets up for grabs which will give the lucky winner a family ticket for up to four people.
The tickets allow free entry into the fair plus free fairground rides and free food. All the information about how to enter will be on the website loddonvalleylions.org.
EVENTS at the community centre: Next Wednesday, starting at 2pm, the film Paddington (PG) is being shown. Tickets cost £1.50.
Sunday, May 31, 1pm to 5pm, is a Frozen Sing-a-long. There’s a Big Family Lunch on Sunday, June 7, from 1pm to 3pm, which includes face-paint, candy floss, splat-the-rat, temporary tattoos, shove ha’penny and Connect Four and more.
