CHURCH service: Also on Sunday, St Leonard’s Family Service takes place at 11.15am.
CLIDDESDEN WI: Next Thursday, May 21, the WI meets at the village hall from 7.30pm. It is their AGM with a sausage supper. It is sure to be sumptuous, so don’t miss out.
CASINO Night: At 7pm, on Sunday, May 24, the Jolly Farmer is holding a Casino Night to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. This promises to be a superb event.
Tickets (£10) are selling fast, so get yours sooner rather than later. There will be canapés, and a prize of a magnum of Champagne for the winner of the most chips. Formal dress. Seriously good fun!
