BAUGHURST Community Speedwatch: Volunteers were out again on April 2 on the Baughurst Road between Shaw Lane and The Wellington Arms.
In just over 90 minutes during the afternoon some 34 excessive speeders were recorded including 10 travelling at 40mph or above.
This brings the total to 95 caught in the parish since February 6 alone.
The volunteers will be out again shortly, working with the police to make our community safer.
NAUTICAL Night: St Stephen’s Church will be holding a Nautical Night today, at Heath End Village Hall. There will be a tasty fish pie supper followed by a talk by David Barlow called My Life in the Navy.

LIVE music: At The Badgers Wood on Saturday, where Mod Town will be playing a mix of mod and ska.
