SATURDAY night at Ellisfield Memorial Hall: If you have booked to join the St George’s Day celebrations remember there are prizes for winning the quiz and for the best St George’s Day costume (or if you would prefer, just wear red and white).

Don’t forget to take cutlery, a plate and a glass and your own particular tipple.

BLUEBELLS: Are emerging in the spring sunshine and should be at their best for the May bank holiday walk on May 4, in aid of St Martin’s and St Andrew’s.

There will be a circular walk of nearly 5k (shorter option available) with drinks and refreshments along the way, starting and ending at the Memorial Hall for the formal opening of the new double doors leading to the lawn.

There will be a barbecue lunch and drinks available for sale at the finish. Dogs on leads are welcome.

The cost is £5 per adult, £1 per child up to 16, includes quiz with prizes!
