BROOKVALE in Bloom 2015 is here!
Entry is now open for this popular local gardening competition, with prizes on offer for best front garden, tub and hanging basket. Budding entrants can email Brookvale Community Association at info@brookvale.org.uk or text to 07807 552669.
With judging taking place from July 6, the last date for entries is June 20, and the prize giving tea party takes place at 3pm on Saturday, July 25. All are welcome!
WATCH out for two forthcoming events, both taking place at BCoT: The first, on Sunday, April 26, from 8.30am to 2pm, is a car boot sale. The second, on Saturday, May 23, from 9am to 3pm, sees a Farmers’ Market in the lower concourse of the North Site.
REGISTER to vote: With May 7 fast approaching, time is running out for any new residents who have not already done so to register to vote in this year’s General Election.
Registration can now be done online at gov.uk/register-to-vote or by completing a voter registration form available from the borough council.
