NWR: Invited other local groups to a talk by John Aylward on human rights and responsibilities and how they have evolved over the last few hundred years.

Gill says: “John has worked in major construction in over 30 countries, many in the developing world. He spoke of our long history in gaining the rights we have today, and how they are now abused.

“He advocated that instead of a Declaration of Human Rights, we should instead have a Declaration of Human Obligations. It was a very interesting talk which led to an animated discussion.”
