DEFIBRILLATOR: As you will remember, over the last couple of years, the village put together various fundraising efforts to supply a defibrillator, which has now been purchased from the Community Heartbeat Trust.

The defibrillator will be housed in a cabinet in the telephone box by the pond – what an excellent use of a beautiful landmark this is!

Part of the package supplied by the Community Heartbeat Trust is the presentation of awareness sessions, at which the use and cautions of using the defibrillator are outlined to local residents.

One such session is to be held in the village hall on Saturday, at 11am.

The duration of the session is approximately an hour-and-a-half. Everyone is welcome to come along. There is no need to book – just turn up on the day.

HAVE Your Say: Don’t forget, also, to Have Your Say at the Carnival Hall, in Council Road, today, from 3pm to 7pm, to vote for funding for the halls continuing kitchen refurbishment.
