A STRANGELY quiet Thursday update, this week, unless something has slipped through the net and escaped my eagle eye.
ROCK ‘n’ Roll evening: This Saturday, the reputedly fabulous Rokkits will be rocking the village hall with a classic Rock ‘n’ Roll set.
This event is likely to sell out pretty qucikly, so contact Angie on 475848 as soon as possible for any remaining tickets!
These are £10 a head, and tables can be reserved. You are welcome to bring your own snacks, but please purchase all drinks from the bar – licensed, of course!
This event is a fundraiser for the hall, so if you’re teetering on the brink of a decision, teeter no more! Get up there and support this local event and have some fun while you do it.
MOTHERING Sunday: This Sunday sees the family service for Mothering Sunday take place from 11.15am at St Leonard’s Church.
CLIDDESDEN WI: Meets next Thursday, March 19, at the hall from 7.15pm (not the earlier start time). Lisa Beaumont’s dance school will be giving a demonstration. All are welcome, as ever.
