BAUGHURST Community SpeedWatch: Were out on Friday, February 6, spotting speeding vehicles in 30mph areas along Wolverton Common and in Heath End Road. The SpeedWatch volunteers identified 21 excessive speeders, two of whom were travelling at 40mph or above. All will now be contacted by the police.
Speeding is regularly highlighted as one of the main types of antisocial behaviour affecting our communities and some 35 SpeedWatch groups around Hampshire help raise awareness of the dangers of speed and improve road safety. Further local SpeedWatch deployments are expected shortly around the parish.
LIVE Music: On Saturday, at The Badgers Wood, the Tim Hain Band will be playing a mix of blues and reggae with a bit of rock on the way.
COFFEE Morning: Ramsdell Village Hall is holding a coffee morning on Wednesday, from 10.30am to 11.30am. If you have any books you have finished with, please bring them along for the book stall. All are welcome.
