ROAD closures: At Black Dam for today on the A30 London Road, east and westbound with overnight traffic lights, and today and Saturday on the M3 spur southbound, all from 10pm to 6am.
POPPY Appeal: So far more than £15,000 has been raised in this appeal year. The RBL are now working with Clothes for Charity in order to increase this total and would welcome donations of good quality clothing and shoes. Collection bags are available from Tracey or Kyle, at the club, after 5pm, or contact appeal organiser Tim Russell on 07772 883964.
ST MARY'S Church Flower Fund. All are welcome this Saturday, from 10am to 11.30am, for the annual coffee morning with bring-and-buy sale and raffle in the Parish Room.
MILL Field Conservation Group: If you’d like to help with continuing the path and scrub clearing to improve access for walkers across the site, please meet at the Barton’s Mill play area at 10am this Sunday. Refreshments provided for all volunteers.
