NWR: Gill says: “At our January planning meeting, we set our programme for 2015, including a ramble, safari supper, playreading and music evening, as well as meetings on the theme for this year, “democracy, liberty and human rights” to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta.
“Our country theme evening will be Japan to include food, art and design, and talks on various aspects of the country. More light-hearted meetings will be about meditation and alternative treatments, technology and social media, and our favourite things. We always welcome new members. For further information, please call me on 882106.”
LODDON Players: Have now cast their spring production Lucky Sods by John Godber, which will be performed from April 16-18.
