CHRISTMAS card recycling: I wrote last week about taking your Christmas cards to Sainsbury’s – they seemed to have been overwhelmed with them.

Unfortunately, the store is not sure it will get another collecting bin back so perhaps you need to look elsewhere.

REFUSE collection: Next week the bin collections go back to normal days.

LATE-night bus service: I have had some good feedback with regard to the late-night bus service from Basingstoke, which leaves the bus station on Fridays and Saturdays, 10.55pm. For more information see basingstoke.gov.uk. Please don’t forget to use the service or you will lose it.

TADLEY Community Centre, Newchurch Road: The next coach trip is to Bletchley Park on April 23, and to Hever Castle on May 20. For more information and tickets, call 0118 981 4538.

The next film is being shown on February 7, and it is “Belle”. The centre has lots going on and it’s well worth either popping in or looking at their web page.
