CHATSWORTH Green: Local residents packed Chatsworth Green in the pouring rain last Saturday to register their opposition to the inclusion of the site in a feasibilty study by the council for a potential allotment site.
Public consultation on the study ends on Monday, so there is still time for residents to register any concerns or comments with BDBC.
ROADWORKS: Hampshire County Council are planning some road improvements to the Woodbury Road area, close to the junction with the A30, sometime over the next couple of months.
This may entail the closure of the exit onto the A30 for two or three days. Hampshire County Council says that it will advertise this well in advance to enable residents to plan their journeys.
IMMANUEL Church: In addition to the regular Sunday services, the church will be holding a special Communion every Thursday morning this month. The service will be followed by coffee and croissants and will be held in the Church Centre, St Mark’s School, Danebury Road.
HAPPY New Year!: Best wishes for a very happy and prosperous New Year.
