ST MARY’S Church: This weekend begins with the literary evening at 7.30pm on Friday, and continues with the last two days of the Tree Festival (superbly organised by Chris Young and her dedicated volunteers) from 11am until 4pm. Don’t forget the craft fair on Saturday. Sunday, at 5pm, sees the traditional carol service, so bring your best voices and join in amidst the twinkling tree lights.

The Advent collection this year goes to Katete Hospital, which does sterling work for more than 300,000 people in rural Zambia.

CHRISTMAS Eve: Begins with crib services at 3pm and 4.30pm, and Midnight Mass is at 11.30pm. On Christmas Day, Holy Communion commences at 8am, and The Eucharist of the Nativity for all ages is at 10am.
