CAROLS in the Calleva: Join the singers and musicians in the Calleva Arms tonight, at 7pm, to sing familiar carols. There will be a collection in aid of St Michael’s Hospice.
SILCHESTER Calendars: There are still a few left at £6 each – ask any of the bellringers.
LESSONS and Carols: In church, this Sunday, at 4pm, there will be special readers and carols. Our tree is now up and lit with thanks to several helpers and to Jacky, who decorates it so well – this year blue and silver.
SILCHESTER Primary School PTA: Will be holding a pub quiz on Monday, at 7.30pm in the Calleva Arms.
CRIB Service: Will be taking place in the parish church at 5pm on Christmas Eve. This is specially arranged for children of all ages and will have well-known carols.
MIDNIGHT Communion: On Christmas Eve, at 11.30pm, in the church, a welcome to baby Jesus with lots of carols.
CALLEVA Arms: We welcome the new licensees, and hope they have a happy time in Silchester.
