HALLOWE’EN fundraising: Thanks to the initiative and generosity of Brookvale residents at Hallowe’en, £225 has been raised locally for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, contributing to the vital work of this charity which has flown over 600 missions this year alone.
MEET your local beat police team: The next police public neighbourhood meeting takes place tonight, at the Wessex Christian Fellowship Church, in Wessex Close, from 7pm to 8pm, where you can bring local issues to police attention and access advice on crime prevention.
CHRISTMAS parking: From this Saturday, BCoT will be opening its car parks at weekends and the Christmas holiday period for Christmas shoppers’ parking – apparently at a very good price!
ALSO on a Christmas theme: Santa’s grotto will be at Aspiral, BCoT’s very own shop at the Top of The Town, on December 5, 6, 13 and 20.
FINALLY: Our local community association’s regular drop-in coffee morning at 10.30am on the first Saturday of every month, at Brookvale Village Hall, continues on Saturday, December 6.
