BOOK Sale: Oakley Scout Group is holding a book sale this Saturday, from 10am to 12.30pm at the Scout and Guide Centre, in St John’s Piece. Please go along if you can and support your local Scout group.
OAKLEY Health Walk: This Sunday sees the Oakley Health Walk which is a suitable walk for the whole family. The walk lasts about an hour and leaves the school lay-by at 2.30pm.
OAKLEY Gardening Club: Will be meeting on Monday, at St Leonard’s Centre at 7pm. New visitors will be made most welcome.
CAROLS at The Manor: For those with pre-purchased tickets, Wednesday, December 3, is Carols at The Manor, a lovely evening of song in beautiful surroundings.
CHRISTMAS Market: After the success of the first Christmas Market in 2013, the market returns next Friday, December 5, to St Leonard’s Centre from 6pm to 9pm, with lots of local crafts, Christmas cheer and refreshments. It’s a good chance to make a dent in the Christmas shopping! Please support this local event.
