CHRISTMAS lights: Tomorrow, at 7pm, the town’s Christmas lights will be switched on.
This year the star guests will be Fairy Godmother Katy Ashworth, from CBeebies, Sarah Louise Day (Cinderella), and Ben Harlow (Prince Charming), who are all in pantomime at The Anvil this Christmas. The Ambrose Allen Centre Christmas Market starts at 6pm, and will have a host of stalls with plenty to buy. Outside will be Jake the Juggler and Siegmund the Singing Reindeer and a merry-go-round, and lots to do, see and buy. Tadley Band will be playing, and Tadley and Hurst Singers and Burnham Copse choir will be singing carols.
CHRISTMAS Bazaar: This Saturday, at The Salvation Hall, Mulfords Hill, 10am-2pm. Why not go along and do some Christmas shopping and have lunch too?
RACE Night: On Friday, December 5, at Barlow’s Park, in Silchester Road. Admission costs £1. All welcome, bar open from 7pm and first race is at 7.30pm. Proceeds go towards pitch and facilities maintenance.
