REMEMBRANCE Services: In the parish church, followed by a short service at the war memorial, when 178 people attended this service, led by The Reverend Canon Ken Batt plus trumpeters from Tadley Concert Brass.
CHILDREN in Need: Silchester church is making this a double event today by remembering our late churchwarden, Valerie Hyde, to whom this concert is dedicated, and Supporting Children in Need.
The event starts at 7.30pm, tickets £5 on the door, including a glass of wine.
OPEN days at school: On November 26 from 1.30pm, for children due to start school in September 2015.
AIR Guitars and Reptiles: The Reptiles will play a gig in the hall on Saturday, with extra music by the Mayflys. Tickets £12.50, from The Calleva Arms.
