WW1 CONCERT: A First World War Centenary Concert, with Tadley Concert Brass, and Service of Commemoration at St Leonard’s Church, take place this Saturday, at 7.30pm. It will include music, singing, readings and refreshments. Entry is free (with donations to the Poppy Appeal), and everyone is welcome.

REMEMBRANCE Sunday: This Sunday, there will be the usual service, at 10.45am, at the War Memorial. In the afternoon, there will a special Memorial Service at 3pm, at St Leonard’s Church, for all who have lost loved ones in recent years. If you wish to, please bring along a memento.

HOLLY Market: The annual Holly Market took place on October 25 in the village hall.

Cat says: “With over 40 stalls and more than 400 attendees, there was a great ambiance and lots of happy shoppers. There were also lots of well-fed customers in the tea room where cake, coffee, tea and curry lunches were enjoyed.

“The Poppy Appeal, run by village volunteers, with a tombola using donations from stallholders and village businesses, was a great success and raised £322. Many thanks to all our loyal supporters.”
