FIREWORKS: Baughurst Scout and Guide groups are holding their annual fireworks night on Saturday, from 6pm at Adam’s Field, Baughurst.
The bonfire will be lit at 6.45pm and the fireworks at 7pm. Tickets are available from Martin Jeffery on 0118 9817939, Tony Jeffery on 0118 9816731, or any Baughurst Scout and Guide group leaders, adults £7, children and OAPs £4.
MONTHLY Market: Wolverton Village Hall holds its monthly market on Saturday, 9.30am to 11am. There will be books, bric-a-brac, cakes, wool, home-made jams and chutneys, flowers and vegetables for sale.
REMEMBRANCE Service: Baughurst Parish Council, in conjunction with St Stephen’s Church, will be holding a service of remembrance at 11am on Sunday, at St Stephen’s Church.
Half muffled bells will be rung prior to the service to commemorate the deaths of men in the First World War. All welcome.
