BEGGARWOOD Community Centre: There are two choices coming forward soon for consultation by residents.
There is a proposal for community rooms within the new planning application at ‘area N’, off Beggarwood Lane, and the council will also be presenting a proposal for a dedicated community centre at the edge of Beggarwood Park.
DIGESTER Liaison Panel: There will be a meeting of the anaerobic digester panel soon. If any residents have any queries or concerns that they would wish to see raised, please contact me on the above number or at terrielizabethreid@ gmail.com.
HATCH Warren Junior School: The juniors held a Macmillan coffee afternoon recently. Year 6 children designed some fundraising activities, and the whole event raised nearly £450.
RAFFLE: Sainsbury’s is hosting a raffle competition in aid of the community centre.
Tickets are available in store until Hallowe’en. Please buy a ticket if you can to help the community centre.
