BASINGSTOKE Half-Marathon: Sunday saw the streets of Cliddesden lined with enthusiastic half-marathon supporters as a colourful array of competitors made their way along the route.
It was also great to see so many of our own villagers running the race.
FRIDAY Club: Today, Friday Club starts again at the village hall from 8.15pm to 9.45pm.
The main event is badminton, but between games there is table tennis, snooker and no doubt plenty of banter.
Mary informs me that they are a bit short of badminton players at the moment, so if anyone would like a (fairly gentle) game please get in touch with her. Anyone interested should email mary@penponds.co.uk.
CLIDDESDEN WI: Next Thursday, October 16, Cliddesden WI members will meet for a fish and chips supper, show and tell, and a carved Hallowe’en vegetable competition – it all starts at 7.30pm at the village hall.
